Deidre’s fascination with bodywork began with a knee injury in high school, which was mis-diagnosed several times. At one point, her doctors told her that she would have to live with the limitation and pain for the rest of her life. Five years after the initial injury, it was finally determined that specialized strength and flexibility of the surrounding muscles would correct the problem. Shortly after a course of physical therapy which left her pain-free, she enrolled at Phoenix Therapeutic Massage College, graduating in 1996. When a friend introduced her to cranio-sacral therapy (CST), she knew she had to learn this subtle, yet powerful technique. She studied CST with the Upledger Institute and began practicing in 1998. Her own education, along with experience as a massage instructor has given her a strong background in anatomy and body structure, which along with her years of experience and natural affinity for this technique, allow
her to tailor each treatment to the client, and whatever they are working through at the time, whether that is an injury, chronic tension patterns, or daily stress.
